Algonquin Park Photo Essay

Blog, Canada

In early October I was in Ontario for a week visiting my family. While I was there I had a chance to go back to Algonquin park to use my camera for the first time!

unfortunately, by the time I got to Algonquin Park about 60% of the beautiful red maple leaves had fallen off, so I had to make do with what was left.

Below are some of the better photos I managed to take – running from the car in the freezing autumn weather to take some shots before jumping back in. What a beautiful drive it was!

Click on the photo and it will open up in a new window in full size.

This one is probably my favourite photo, even if there are no maple trees in sight.

I’m going to be posting photo essays every week, to display some of the photos I take with my new camera, in the new and beautiful places I am. I hope you enjoy them!
