Getting Ready To Start A New Life

Well. 35 days until I leave my little town again and start a new life. Again. In Australia this time.

My bags are packed, and I’m ready to go (insert musical tune here), I’m just waiting for the day to arrive. It’s been a hectic haze of buying insurance, plane tickets, my visa, saving up as much money as I can muster, and throwing everything I own into 7 little(ish) totes.

I land in Australia on October 30th, after spending a week in Ontario with my family and two weeks in Belgium with my friends. If all goes according to plan, I will be staying in Sydney for the first four months, Brisbane for the next four, and Perth for the last four. Unfortunately, my one-time visa only lasts for a year, so I have lots to do and see in that time. I’m sure I’ll post my bucketlist later.
